I admit. I feel no shame in reading or learning from “self-help” books. Although I DO hate the term “self-help”. I’d much rather prefer “self-improvement” or “personal development” or something like that.

I am well aware that there’s a lot of scope for improvement in my life and some tasks look seriously daunting. So I have decided to eat the elephant one bite at a time. Hence, 30 days. I scoured the internet for interesting 30-day challenges. Some were 30-day photo challenges which do not really interest me because I am really looking forward to have achieved something at the end of a 30-day period. So here’s a list of ideas relevant to my life and I’m going to choose one or more to do EVERYDAY for the next 30 days:

  1. No Twitter
  2. Write Poetry
  3. Practise guitar for 1 hour
  4. Read a book
  5. Exercise daily
  6. Meditate daily
  7. Cook at least one meal daily
  8. Write a blog post
  9. Eat fruit
  10. Wake up at 6.30 AM or earlier
  11. No Internet after 10.30 PM
  12. Laugh daily
  13. Visualize daily
